CROSS BUILDING

RESIDENTIAL / ALBENA / BUILT 2012

CROSS BUILDING is a residential building located on the hills above Albena resort. The plot is long and narrow, with a slope reaching 5m difference of levels along the long side of the site. In search of maximum comfort for the inhabitants, the building is located on the highest possible level of the plot. The inner spaces are composed so that the orientation provides privacy, south sun and best view over the sea. The main color of the building is white – intrinsic feature of the coastal architecture. The playful composition of the volumes is an outer reflection of the 45º scheme which is the base of the floor plans. The plastic effect of the which is the base of the floor plans. The plastic effect of the composition is further enhanced with the white and grey painting of the facades.
